Planned Giving

Your legacy gift will help us share the "joy of klez"
with future generations

Klezmer Music Foundation impacts the Jewish community in innumerable ways, from teaching the art of klezmer and Yiddish music to today's young musicians; reaching out to seniors, school children, and other audiences who would not otherwise have the opportunity to see live performances of klezmer music; and being musical ambassadors to the community and the world through collaboration in the arts.

Bequests are…

Personal: This musical legacy was passed down to you. You can be the link to the next generation.

Positive: You can make an impact by helping the Jewish community’s heritage and music thrive for years to come.

Practical: The Klezmer Music Foundation is an Illinois 501 (c)(3) foundation.

Planned giving allows you to make a lasting impact on the survival of our musical heritage. One way our community members can express their commitment to our long-term viability is by naming Klezmer Music Foundation Inc. in their wills or trusts. This flexible way to contribute involves naming Klezmer Music Foundation in your estate plans. In addition to remembering us in your will, you can include the Klezmer Music Foundation as an organization to receive legacy contributions in memory of a loved one.

Klezmer Music Foundation can direct your gift where it is needed the most, or your gift can be earmarked to support the things that are the most meaningful to you, such as The Junior Klezmer Orchestra, interfaith outreach, concerts for our elders, and other projects.
